Move To Beat Parkinson 2023

Move To Beat Parkinson (MTBP) 2023 @ Our Tampines Hub on 16th Sept 2023, 9am - 2pm

**MTBP:** Move To Beat Parkinson is a community outreach event that aims to raise awareness for Parkinson by showcasing activities beneficial for Persons with Parkinson (PwPs). PSS’s goal is to empower Persons with Parkinson (PwPs) to stay active, & to enhance the quality of care they receive.

**Segment 1 - Parkinson Star Awards (PSA) presentation:** The PSA honour 3 Parkinson Warriors who are nominated by the community & warriors. The award recognises their courage & determination to live their best lives with Parkinson. It also further motivates them to persevere on & continue to inspire others on the journey with Parkinson.

**Segment 2 - MTBP Walk-Run:** Be motivated by PwPs in action by joining them in the walk-run of 705m (consists of both indoor & outdoor tracks) or 455m (only indoor track)! Participation fee is $50, inclusive of an exclusive MTBP tee & plushie! All proceeds will go towards supporting the Parkinson cause.

**Segment 3 - Carnival:** Wondering how you can support PwPs? Join us at the carnival which features exciting booths, including the showcase of PSS programmes featuring warriors in Tango, Dance, Kickboxing & more!
