Indoor Garden Craft Workshops
(Available in 3 Sessions)
The Parkinson Society Singapore is collaborating with Team U Happy I Happy, a group of Nan Chiau High School students in this series of workshops for People with Parkinson. Participants will learn to create their own mini potted plants and decorate the pots themselves!
Having plants indoor helps people to relax and unwind. Miniature indoor gardening is a space-efficient activity which serves functional and decorative purposes for People with Parkinson (PwP).
From potting the plant to decorating its home, this hands-on activity provides a creative outlet for PwP, as well as a practical final product which will be useful to them in the long run. Over time, caring for plants also provides feelings of satisfaction from the plant growth seen.
In each session, participants will learn how to pot miniature plants, decorate the pots with their own designs and will be able to bring home their own creation.
Each session has the same content, so you can pick any one of the three dates.
